Cortex Unveils Groundbreaking Crypto Advances Paving the Way for Web3 Revolution!

  1. Can you tell us more about the Cortex Network and what makes it unique compared to other Web3 content publishing networks?

Cortex has made several advances in crypto that make us truly unique, scalable, and useful.

1. Domains and nesting to model multi-dimensional spaces. In essence, domain name NFTs can now represent and model physical spaces or have nice controls for brands over how subdomains are used.

2. Data and namespace through a unique HD wallet.  We use a key structure that allows keys to have human names and hold just about any kind of information. That means we’ve created a true way to build web3 on keys for all information that’s cost-effective, with no per-update fees.

3. A new kind of index for ultra-high scalability, responsiveness and AI capabilities. Altogether, these technologies create a foundation for Web3 where there’s a complete crypto foundation for many of the things you do in web2, but now available in web3 with user-ownership, immutable data histories and a financial backbone to all information. This opens the door for a true metaverse where digital items are as lasting as things in our physical world, and many ways to track information about physical objects as they move though the world. We can now model all that in a way that’s scalable and creates permanent histories.

2. What are your short-term and long-term marketing goals?

We have several new top-level domains coming out and selling those to the wider public. So far, all our domains have been limited for private beta, now we’re going live publicly at Bitcoin Miami with some new ones that will be hot! Next we’ll be building our developer network and offering a grant program. We’ll be launching the full content network and $CRTX token for true distributed publishing this summer. These all build on each other, but we are a true platform play, so what be built on our network will drive success more than any one thing. Long-term, we seek to establish ourselves as the foundation for rapid scaling in Web3.

3What is the target audience for Cortex and how do you plan on attracting users to the platform?

Our target audience is dApp developers and brands looking to have a high-utility and highly scalable foundation that makes it easy to build out their use cases.

4. How do you see the future of Web3 content publishing evolving and how does Cortex fit into that vision?

The reason that there is no real “Web3” to speak of is because none of the current technologies are truly scalable. We need to get to a point where content updates or database updates in a Web3 environment are nearly free. Cortex has made some big innovations here that we believe could become foundational to a highly-scalable Web3.

5. How does Cortex plan on growing and nurturing it’s active community?

We have several contests, quests, challenges, and bounties going all the time, so there’s plenty for our community members to do. Beyond that, we seek to become part of a larger network of partner companies and their communities where we can all grow together and build together.

6. What is the size of the market that Cortex is targeting and what percentage of that market do you hope to capture?

We enable new products to be developed at scale that are addressing trillion $ problems in supply chain and buildings and construction. That’s a rather static view for a new industry like web3. We think more about the value of the problem we are solving than in market capture. Web3 is still just in the double-digit $billions, but this small number of builders is address $trillions in new solutions. That’s where we are focused, in enabling the builders and as they scale, we can scale with their needs.

7. How important is social media for Cortex’s marketing strategy and what channels have you found to be most effective in reaching your target audience?

Social is a huge component of building the right community for us. Guest appearances on highly-watched AMAs and Twitter Spaces has worked well. Many viral campaigns don’t seem to work as well for long-term engagement. We want people to build with us, and share what they’ve built, so many of our campaigns are based on making building and sharing as easy as possible.

8. What are your biggest challenges in terms of marketing your business?

There’s so much noise in Web3, sometimes it’s hard to be heard through it. We are after deep, genuine interaction, and that takes time it seems.

9. How do you plan to measure the success of your marketing efforts?

Typical things like clicks and engagement measures. We also do some analysis of the types of users we are engaging.

10. Can you speak to the current investor landscape for Cortex and what types of investors you are looking to attract?

Current investor landscape is not frothy like it used to be, but there are several smart investors who see the potential for web3 and the need for scalable, easy-to-use infrastructure. These are the kinds of investors that will want to work with us.
